Located 4 miles south of Eugene. at I-5 and Highway 58.

Milton and Rufus Riggs established Goshen, a farming community specializing in livestock and hop growing, in 1850. The first post office was built in 1874 and the community acquired a train depot on the Oregon and California Railroad in the late 1870s.

Today Goshen serves as a bedroom community to Eugene/Springfield and host a variety of industrial type businesses including Willamette Industries.
